Barry Bostwick reflects on 50 years of ‘Rocky Horror’ ahead of Rochester appearance

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — As “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” celebrates its 50th anniversary, original cast member Barry Bostwick says the film’s lasting impact is something no one could have predicted when cameras rolled in the mid-1970s.

Bostwick, who played Brad Majors, will visit Rochester’s West Herr Auditorium Theatre on Thursday for a screening, Q&A, and fan event marking the milestone year. It’s the final stop on a 35-city tour.

“We knew that it was exciting and energetic and something different,” Bostwick said. “But we didn’t know just how different it was going to be thought of over the years.”…
