Two bald eagles crashed into house getting stuck together rescued

In an unusual situation on Saturday, the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors received a call on their hotline reporting two eagles lying on the ground; one on top of the other, after the birds of prey crashed into a house. As unlikely as that sounds, that is exactly what the volunteer found at arrival.

The two birds were gripping onto each other with both feet and were unwilling or unable to let go. Neither appeared to have any injuries, but the staff thought it prudent to have them checked out at the DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center just to be safe…
