CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor is continuing its effort to fight childhood hunger by offering free healthy meals and snacks to every child enrolled in its programs.
The organization announced it is again participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) — a federal program that reimburses organizations serving nutritious meals to children.
The Clubs have been part of CACFP for 12 years.
Meals are offered at no cost to children and teens attending these Club locations:
- Busse Unit
- Olivet Church
- St. Mark’s United Methodist Church
- Faith Academy in Iowa City
