IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (WAFB) – Iberville Parish dedicated this year’s Veterans Day celebration to fallen Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Riley, who was killed in the line of duty last month.
Riley served as an airman in the Navy before working with the sheriff’s office. Sheriff Brett Stassi said Riley deserves to be honored.
“He dedicated his whole life to the defense of others and he sacrificed his life to save others right here in this courthouse building. He represents what’s the best of us,” Stassi said…
