JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville’s long-vacant General Motors plant site could soon become home to one of Wisconsin’s largest technology investments.
On Monday night, the City Council voted 5–2 to approve a Letter of Intent with Viridian Acquisitions LLC, a Colorado-based firm specializing in brownfield redevelopment. The move sets the stage for a potential $8 billion hyperscale data center campus on the 250-acre property along South Jackson Street.
