ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A new leader is taking over the St. Louis Street Department — just in time for winter.
Mayor Cara Spencer announced her pick for the permanent role earlier today. Spencer says the appointment of James Jackson as streets director is a signal of “robust change” coming to the department, especially when it comes to snow removal and potholes.
“This is a man who has seen it all,” Spencer said. “I’m wildly enthusiastic about his leadership, disruption, and service to the community.”…
