WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Thanksgiving dinner was delivered Wednesday to the Kansas Food Bank.
Cargill donated 75,000 pounds or six truckloads of turkey breast and thighs to help feed Kansans over the holidays.
“What we have found at the Food Bank and our agency partners, plus the clients that they are serving, really love this on their tables. Most families are not as large as they used to be,” said Brian Walker, President & CEO of the Kansas Food Bank. “If you are looking at our clients that we serve, they don’t have the ability to cook a whole bird.”…
