ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A massive solar storm meant people in the U.S. saw the northern lights Tuesday night, including here in New Mexico.
KOB 4 received photos of the northern lights, seen all across New Mexico. The northern lights, known scientifically as the aurora borealis, were so bright they could be seen with the naked eye and in photos within the limits of some New Mexico cities:
