ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A man was found guilty Wednesday for a shooting in Menands last year.
Zacceus Cancer, 25, shot a 35-year-old man on Sept. 7 around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Exit 6 and Broadway. The victim was treated on scene and taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Albany County District Attorney’s Office said crucial to the case was video surveillance footage from along Broadway that showed Cancer pursuing a white SUV. At the Exit 6 on-ramp, the white SUV attempted a high-speed turn, but it crashed over a barrier and came to rest in the opposite lane. Cancer then opened fire on the 35-year-old victim…
