If it hasn’t sunk in yet, this week’s snowfall is the writing on the wall – winter is coming.
Last year, the Erie region saw its first snowfall in a record-breaking Black Friday storm, but this year, the first snowfall came about three weeks earlier.
For customers of one local power equipment store, the first few inches of snow have been a wake-up call of sorts, with the store seeing an influx of people getting their snowblowers repaired.
And Snow it goes…
“We’ve seen a lot of increased activity since the snow word was mentioned last Monday. It increased a lot of sales for the snow throwers. The sales have been real good for the whole year. People remember last year and have been purchasing snow throwers early and getting their snow throwers in for repair, so it’s been real busy,” said Harvey Waldinger, Sales Manager at Gerlach’s Power Equipment…
