Indiana State Police debuts new patrol car design

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Indiana State Police has debuted a new color scheme for patrol vehicles.

This design features a royal blue base with white accents, and of course, the ISP logo displayed on either side. 20 freshly graduated Probationary Troopers are among the first to receive these Dodge Durangos. Additionally, five Ford Mustangs have been issued to specially-trained Troopers.

Fort Wayne will see just three vehicles to start: two Durangos and a Mustang.

In a release from the ISP, Superintendent Anthony Scott said, “While the color scheme is a salute to our past, it is also a bridge to the future of the Indiana State Police, a future that each of these young Troopers will help forge. We are excited to have both our new Troopers and these new look Dodge Durangos begin their service in communities throughout Indiana.”…
