On Thursday, November 13, 2025, the Nashville Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will hold a 12-hour food drive with Kroger and Second Harvest Food Bank. The event will take place at the Kroger located at 5713 Edmondson Pike, Nashville. Volunteers will collect non-perishable food items from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The goal is to support families experiencing food insecurity.
Many Metro Nashville Davidson County residents are affected by a lapse in SNAP benefits this November. Shoppers can donate items such as peanut butter, canned meats, vegetables, and pasta.
