Emotions erupt in courtroom as three men are sentenced for 2022 double murder

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Three men were sentenced in an emotional Onondaga County Courtroom on Wednesday in connection with a double homicide that happened in August 2022.

Lashaun Dixon of New Jersey, Donnell Thornton of Solvay and Jamel Weston of Syracuse were sentenced to life without parole for murder in the first degree. They were found guilty of the slayings of Alexis Stellin, 32 and Jamie Crawford, 46, at an apartment at 3101 Burnet Ave.
