BATON ROUGE — After a fiery crash this past April, Tristan Harrison is working hard to recover from the injuries he sustained, including needing an amputation above the knee of his left leg. His recovery has resulted in roughly $2 million in medical bills, and he remains unable to return to work, he shared.
Members of the local community are coming together to help Harrison through a benefit this weekend.
A Benefit Bash will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Towers Harley-Davidson in Baton Rouge. All proceeds will go toward helping Harrison with medical expenses and other needs.
The event will feature a silent auction, raffle, vendors, food, and live music. Harrison said the Harley-Davidson team is helping organize much of the event, including cooking large batches of jambalaya, while family friends are preparing chicken quarters and side dishes…
