We were a couple degrees colder this morning thanks to the very light winds. The low was 39 at the airport, just above freezing in the valley. TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, and the winds will be light out of the SW at 5-10 mph. We will not be as cold as last night with lows of 45 at the airport, 40 in the Valley.
FORECAST: Wednesday will be sunny with a high of 80. The SW winds will range from 5-15 mph, making for such a beautiful day that one might say, “Perfection Achieved.” Thursday will be sunny and 81 with light, warm afternoon breezes. Friday will be sunny and 82 with SW winds ranging from 5-20 mph. (The record high on Friday is 83 in 2017.) The long-range data has changed dramatically since yesterday, and the models are holding a storm over California instead of pushing it through the Borderland. As such, Saturday may be the warmest day with mostly sunny skies and a high of 83. The SW winds will pick up and gust near 30 mph. (We could easily break a record on Saturday, as it is 82 set in 1981.) Sunday will be partly cloudy with cooler winds and a high of 74.
