BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – A restaurant in Brandon will soon close its doors.
Abner’s Famous Chicken, located on West Government Street, will close on November 20, 2025.
“This closure comes as the company has decided to pull out of all stores in Mississippi, and it’s not a reflection on our incredible team or our wonderful community. We want to extend our deepest gratitude for all of your support over the years,” a note read on the restaurant’s door.
The other Abner’s location is at Crosstown Concourse in Memphis, Tennessee.
