Police Respond to 370 Calls in Local Districts Over 24-Hour Period, Including Robbery and Domestic Disturbances

Between 6:00 a.m. on November 10 and 6:00 a.m. on November 11, 2025, local police responded to 370 calls for service across city districts. This number does not include parking complaints or accidental 911 calls. The calls were distributed as follows: Central (53), East (90), Midtown (58), North (62), South (52), and West (48). There were also 7 calls listed as ‘Other,’ which usually involve assistance to agencies outside the city.

In the Central district, police responded to a domestic disturbance at 8:56 a.m. involving a 19-year-old male. He was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct after a dispute over a vape pen. At 10:47 a.m., an 18-year-old male was arrested on N. Broom St for pouring bleach on store products and assaulting two people who intervened.

The East district had two separate death investigations. At 10:27 a.m., a 40-year-old man was found dead after a welfare check. Police found no suspicious circumstances. At 11:05 a.m., a 67-year-old man was found deceased in his home. His medical history suggested natural causes…
