Construction is beginning on hundreds of new apartments in Roeland Park.
In the works for years, crews are set to start work on The Rocks, a 287-unit project at 48th Street and Roe Parkway, just east of Roe Boulevard near Aldi. The project, which could be finished by spring 2028 under developer EPC, will include a parking garage and space for a sit-down restaurant.
That means a significant new housing option in the small Johnson County city of about 6,700 people…
