Ozark High School updates auditorium sound, lighting with surplus bond funds

Upgrades to the Ozark High School auditorium are complete, just in time for the theater department’s fall production of “Tuck Everlasting.”

The new house lighting and sound system was paid for by surplus funding from the $19 million bond issue approved by voters in 2022. The “no tax increase” ballot measure, which added to the district’s debt but did not alter property tax bills, funded three storm shelters and an indoor activities center at the high school.
