The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) has announced that nine developments in Aurora, Denver, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Sterling will receive federal and state Housing Tax Credits in the 2025 Round Two awards. These credits will help build 840 new affordable rental units. Five of the projects will use the new Transit-oriented Communities (TOC) credit, which supports housing near public transit.
The credits are expected to bring in more than $209.5 million in private sector equity. The projects will provide housing for individuals, families, and people experiencing homelessness. Since 1986, Housing Tax Credits have helped build or preserve over 80,000 affordable rental units in Colorado. More information about the awarded developments is available on…..
