SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a possible aircraft crash Wednesday.
According to a press release, at approximately 12:27 p.m., the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a rural part of Valley Springs following reports from Air Traffic Control of a possible crashed aircraft.

Metro Communications was notified that a plane declared an emergency on one of the emergency frequencies and then contact was lost with the craft.
