Utah Food Bank expects impact of shutdown to linger past government reopening

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Officials at Utah Food Bank said that while the additional state funding provided during the government shutdown will end this week, the organization will continue operating at a high level to support Utahns facing hunger.

They anticipate that the impacts of the shutdown will linger while people struggle to get back on their feet.
