A large downtown Boise restaurant closed last fall, leaving hundreds of thousands and lawsuits behind. The owners of the concept also left Boise behind, and are working on a splashy new concept in another state.
Cary Prewitt and Melissa Levick are the owners of Western Collective, a brewery in Garden City that operates out of a garage-style building and also supplies its beer brands to local grocery stores. They also owned a downtown restaurant that operated under several names — including Western Social, Western Proper, House of Western, Due West, and The National. The downtown spot closed in October 2024, as BoiseDev reported.
