Man reportedly armed with shotgun shot and injured by Eugene Police

EUGENE, Ore. — A 40-year-old man was shot and injured by Eugene Police officers Wednesday afternoon after multiple reports of a man threatening people with a shotgun near the 1400 block of Railroad Boulevard.

According to a Eugene Police Department (EPD) press release, 911 callers first reported seeing the armed man at around 12:32 p.m.

Officers responded to the area, and by 12:50 p.m., there was a report of shots fired and the suspect down…
