HONOLULU (KHON) – South Korea’s largest convenience store chain, CU, has opened its first-ever U.S. location in downtown Honolulu.
The store, located on Bishop Street inside the Davies Pacific Center, offers everything from Korean street snacks and kimbap to coffee, desserts and grab-and-go meals that you won’t find anywhere else.

“This giant, amazing ramen bar, where can you see this in Hawaii?” said Aaron Ahana, CU Manager. “It’s super popular in Korea. We have hundreds of different varieties. You can get fried or soup-based.”
