Man arrested on animal cruelty warrant, police seize cocaine and handgun

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A man was arrested after an encounter with the Asheville Police Department as they were conducting a proactive enforcement in the Deaverview Road area, according to police.

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, at around 3:31 p.m., officers with the Asheville Police Department were conducting a regular proactive enforcement in the Deaverview Road area when they made contact with Tequan Altorez Vance, 37, who had an open warrant for felony cruelty to animals.
