A heartwarming reunion took place at Dignity Health Memorial Hospital as a cardiac arrest survivor met the medical team that saved his life. The patient, a man in his 40s, suffered a cardiac arrest at home. Fortunately, a family member was present and began hands-only CPR while emergency services were called. The patient was initially taken to Mercy Southwest Hospital before being transferred to Memorial’s STEMI receiving center, where his blocked vessel was reopened.
