Illegal Gambling Operations In Ohio ‘Dismantled’, Over 100 Slot Machines Seized, Plus Over $200,000 In Cash

Authorities in Ohio say they have dismantled multiple illegal gambling operations following a yearlong investigation, seizing more than $200,000 in cash and more than 100 slot machines.

The Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force on Tuesday announced ongoing results in the yearlong investigation that began last year in response to complaints from community members. The investigation zeroed in on three establishments: Lucky Dog 7 in South Point, Three Kings in New Boston, and Three Aces in Portsmouth.

During the course of the operation, Task Force agents seized more than 100 slot machines used in illegal gambling operations, along with more than $200,000 in U.S. currency, dismantling “multiple locations involved in organized criminal activity.”…
