Indiana man sentenced for selling stolen pontoon boats in Ottawa County

Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) – An Indiana man will spend at least five years in prison for selling stolen pontoon boats in Ottawa County. (Story)

Forty-three-year-old Lance Allen Holland of Fort Wayne admitted to selling three stolen boats to a Jamestown buyer last year. Investigators say the pontoons were taken from dealerships in Kentucky and Alabama.

The Grand Haven Tribune reports that Holland was arrested last May after deputies recovered two of the boats. He later missed his sentencing and was caught again in Ohio on a new larceny charge…
