Hamilton Southeastern teachers storm out of school board meeting amid contract dispute

FISHERS, Ind. — Dozens of Hamilton County teachers stormed out of a school board meeting Wednesday night, demanding more pay.

More than 100 people, including teachers and supporters, showed up to the Hamilton Southeastern school board meeting Nov. 12 to voice concerns about teacher contracts.

But when the board told them they couldn’t talk about the issue because it wasn’t on the agenda, they walked out, holding a meeting of their own in the parking lot…
