LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Pennsylvania’s Amish population is the largest it’s been, prompting some Amish families in the Lancaster area to move farther west, researchers said.
“It is growing fast,” said Kyle Kopko, an Amish researcher and professor at Elizabethtown College. “The Amish double in size about every 20 years.”
