NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officers with the Nicholasville Police Department (NPD) are reportedly trying to communicate with someone involved in a Thursday morning domestic dispute.
Around 10:40 a.m. on Nov. 13, department officials told FOX 56 News that officers were dispatched to a home on the 200 block of Maple Leaf Lane in response to a text to 911 about an ongoing fight in the area. When they arrived, someone tried to drive away, hitting a police cruiser before running back inside.
Jessamine County Homeless Coalition works to ease burden on families facing food insecurity
Around 10 a.m. on Thursday, East Jessamine High School sent a letter to families that the campus had briefly entered a “secure the building” mode for less than 10 minutes due to “a situation in the community” that was unrelated to the school.
“None of our student daily operations were impacted during this short period of time,” EJHS leaders wrote.
