MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man accused of shooting two people over a dead relative’s missing money was arrested nearly a year after the incident.
Courtney Terae Chalmers, 25, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, six counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, burglary to wit motor vehicle, and theft of a firearm under $1,000.
Police said on December 9, 2022, at around 1 p.m., a woman was with her boyfriend in a Kia K5, and they went to a home in the 4600 block of Harvest Valley, where they saw a Dodge Charger.
