The City of Fort Pierce has extended its impact fee waiver for new residential and commercial construction in the Urban Infill and Redevelopment Area. The waiver will remain in effect through November 3, 2026. The City Commission approved this extension on November 3, 2025. The policy was first adopted in 2020 to lower development costs and encourage investment in core neighborhoods.
