SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Around 20 inmates were involved in a riot at California State Prison, Sacramento, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
CDCR said staff used chemical agents, non-lethal rounds and warning shots to stop the violence and restore order on Nov. 10. Four inmates were taken to an outside hospital for treatment, and investigators later recovered four improvised weapons from the scene.
