The Santa Barbara Planning Commission on November 6, 2025, approved the closure and removal of the century-old Los Patos Underpass off Highway 101.
The Planning Commission voted to certify the Final Environmental Impact Report and approved the Coastal Development Permit for the removal of the century-old underpass.
