West Palm Beach non-profit boosts meal services with donation amid SNAP funding crisis

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — It’s been almost two weeks since SNAP benefits ended and thousands in our area are feeling the effects.

One local non-profit organization is ramping up its outreach to food insecure families in response to snap funding uncertainty.

‘The Lords Place’ in West Palm Beach received a $15,000 donation, leading to more meals for families. One mother in particular is speaking to CBS12 News about her struggles the past few weeks…
