BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — River’s Dahlias in Veneta, Oregon, has announced the release of a new dahlia seedling named “Kaylee Jade,” in memory of Kaylee Jade Goncalves, who was one of four students killed in an off-campus house at the University of Idaho on November 13, 2022.
The Goncalves family collaborated with River’s Dahlias to create this tribute to their beloved daughter, sister, and friend. The Kaylee Jade Dahlia will be available to the public on the River’s Dahlias website in December, in partnership with Heron’s Nest Dahlias and Kennedy Hill Farm.
The Goncalves family expressed their gratitude, saying, “For a long time, we have wanted to find a light to follow through all the dark, through all the noise.
