Queensbury man admits to stealing millions from clients

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Queensbury man has pleaded guilty in a federal wire fraud case. The 45-year-old ran an Albany-based company called Prime Capital Ventures LLC. Officials said he stole tens of millions of dollars from commercial loan clients between 2022 and 2024.

Kris Roglieri made clients false promises, claiming that their payments would be used to obtain larger loans and their money would be refunded if the loans did not materialize. In reality, Roglieri used the millions for extravagant purchases or to repay prior clients.

Two co-conspirators from Virginia Beach, Kimberly Humphrey and her brother Christopher Snyder, also pleaded guilty in the case.

Roglieri will have to pay restitution to his victims and faces up to 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced in March…
