Route 29 pedestrian bridge open for public use

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A busy stretch of U.S 29 has a brand-new look and a safer way to cross it.

After years of planning, a multi-million-dollar pedestrian bridge is finally open, linking Stonefield to Zan Road and giving people a protected path over the highway.
