Cincinnati drug trafficker sentenced for fentanyl-related crimes, shooting rival dealer

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man, Robert Lee Howard, 34, was sentenced to 18 years in prison by the U.S. District Court for his involvement in multi-kilogram drug trafficking and a violent shooting incident.

Howard, primarily a fentanyl dealer, was captured on camera in February 2024 shooting a rival fentanyl dealer after a dispute over who sold more potent fentanyl.

Court documents revealed Howard’s extensive drug operations, which included selling cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana. In June 2024, agents intercepted a package containing over four kilograms of 96 percent pure crystal meth, part of a shipment Howard was expecting…
