Ohio looks to overhaul child custody and parenting laws

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVG) – Ohio is one step closer to overhauling family law in the state in what supporters say is roughly 20 years of work.

The 422-page bill will change the way parents and custodians are viewed under the law. It aims to modernize and delegate parenting responsibilities in a way that’s child-focused, the sponsors said.
