In late 2023, St. Lucie County permanently closed the T and L docks at Museum Pointe Park on South Hutchinson Island. The closure is due to structural damage from storms and general wear. The docks are still in place to prevent navigation hazards and to help with the process of getting permits for temporary berthing structures.
The county is reviewing all park amenities, including the closed docks. This review is part of early planning for future site improvements that align with St. Lucie County’s Strategic Plan.
