A 30-year-old San Diego man was arrested on suspicion of robbery after Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies found him walking northbound on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country on Tuesday afternoon, according to an official with the station.
The robbery was near the 26800 block of Sierra Highway when the victim, a Lyft driver, was threatened with harm from the passenger who took all their belongings, according to an email statement from Deputy Mariela Picard, public information officer with the station.
