Richmond Hill woman pleads guilty to crash that killed mother of 3

BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – A Richmond Hill woman received a 12 year sentence Thursday morning for a car crash that killed a mother of three and injured another on December 6, 2024.

Jacqlyn “Morgan” Bacot Henderson pled guilty to homicide by vehicle and serious injury by vehicle. Judge Charles P. Rose, Jr. handed Henderson a 12 year sentence, four to be served in prison and eight to be served on probation.

Donna Pitts, 35, and her grandmother, Donna Bocook, were traveling down Highway 17 when they were hit by Henderson. Pitts died in the accident, and Bocook suffered injuries to her left arm, shoulder and back…
