With the Savannah State University motto “You Can Get Anywhere From Here” students attend the university looking for ways to live out these words in truth. With the students pushing to succeed, it becomes the duty of the faculty and staff to ensure that each student receives a high level of care and support.
Savannah State University recently announced that Brian Dawsey has been appointed as the Director of Mentorship. Dawsey has goals to lead student success and bring more leadership development to this campus as mentorship is how people are led towards their success, their careers, and their life.
As the advisor to both the Savannah State chapter of Collegiate 100 and the Gamma Zeta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Dawsey has become used to giving advice to students.
“Well I wanna help the students by connecting them with the faculties,staff,students,as well as outside entities, helping them develop not only a professional,but their leadership, as well as what we can provide with them academically on campus.”…
