WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Crews have secured a gas leak that happened on New Centre Drive in Wilmington on Thursday afternoon.
A Wilmington Fire Department (WFD) spokesperson said construction in the area caused the gas leak.
According to the WFD, the gas leak occurred at 5041 New Centre Drive, next to the building that exploded in August.
