A Roseland man has been charged with taking part in a series of violent robberies targeting passengers on the Red Line earlier this year.
Chicago police said 22-year-old Vaughn Jackson was among a group that attacked and robbed a 45-year-old man aboard a train near Garfield around 5:15 p.m. on January 5.
A short time later, Jackson allegedly joined others in assaulting and robbing a 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man on a train near 35th Street. Another 19-year-old woman was also battered but not robbed during that attack, according to police…
