The shape of potential changes to Madison’s Beltline is becoming clearer following the state Department of Transportation’s release of a decade-long study in search of “long term solutions” for the high-traffic corridor.
Highlighting the list of updates from the department’s “Draft Planning and Environmental Linkages Study” are a potential flex lane extension or the addition of another lane in each direction west of Verona Road to Parmenter Street in Middleton and an extension of the existing flex lane east to the interchange with I-39/90.
