The City of Madison will hold a Downtown Alders Meet and Greet on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Madison Senior Center. The event aims to encourage direct communication between community members and the alders representing Madison’s downtown districts. Residents, business owners, and visitors are invited to attend and discuss current projects, community priorities, and future plans for the downtown area.
Four alders will be present: MGR Govindarajan (District 8 and Council Vice President), Davy Mayer (District 6), Mike Verveer (District 4), and Will Ochowicz (District 2). Topics will include affordable housing, infrastructure, public safety, and support for cultural institutions. City staff will also attend to provide information about city services and opportunities for public involvement.
